About the Role
Streamline Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Epping for a Help Desk Administrator. This role will be the first point of contact for clients and internal teams, managing calls and emails regarding waste-management service requests. You’ll dispatch field teams as needed, log jobs, track progress, and maintain accurate records to ensure timely, compliant service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and log incoming enquiries and service requests (e.g., septic-tank emptying, drain unblocking, tanker bookings, flood-response calls) via phone or email.
Assign jobs to field teams / operators, ensuring details are clear and accurate.
Monitor job progress, track outstanding work, follow up on deadlines, and update clients on scheduling or delays.
Maintain accurate records and documentation (job sheets, customer details, scheduling logs).
Handle general admin duties to support the helpdesk and operations team (data entry, filing, correspondence).
Ensure compliance with internal procedures, regulatory paperwork, and standards aligned with waste-management regulations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience in a busy admin or help-desk role.
Good organisational and IT skills; comfortable learning internal systems.
Calm, clear communicator able to handle customer calls and coordinate between clients and teams.
Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and adapt to changing or urgent service requests.
Reliable and flexible, aware that operational needs can change, particularly during emergencies.
